Training & Placements
Purpose
The Training & Placement Office (TPO) facilitates career development and campus placement opportunities for students. These rules ensure fair, professional, and organized processes for training, internships, and placement drives.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Only students enrolled in the current academic program are eligible.
2. Students must meet minimum academic performance and attendance criteria as defined by the institute.
3. Students must register with the TPO and provide accurate personal and academic details.
Registration Rules
1. Students must register within the timelines specified by the TPO.
2. Registration is valid for one academic year unless updated otherwise.
3. Any change in contact information, resume, or documents must be immediately communicated to the TPO.
Conduct Rules
1. Students must maintain professional behavior during all training sessions, interviews, and company visits.
2. Any form of misconduct, ragging, harassment, or unethical behavior may result in de-registration.
3. Students must adhere to all deadlines and schedules provided by the TPO.
Placement Rules
1. Students should participate in placement drives as per the schedule communicated by the TPO.
2. A student may attend a limited number of drives as per institute policy.
3. Once selected and accepted by a company, students must formally withdraw from other ongoing placement processes.
4. After joining a company, students are not eligible for further placement drives organized by the TPO.
Training Rules
1. Attendance in pre-placement training sessions (aptitude, technical, soft skills, etc.) may be mandatory.
2. Students must complete assignments, mock interviews, and other assessments.
3. Continuous non-participation may affect eligibility for placements.
Confidentiality & Ethics
1. Students must maintain confidentiality regarding company information, test papers, and interview questions.
2. Sharing such information is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
3. Students are expected to follow ethical behavior during all placement activities.
Documentation Rules
1. Students must submit all required documents (resume, ID, certificates, etc.) before interviews.
2. Submission of false or incorrect information may lead to immediate disqualification.
Attendance & Participation
1. Students are expected to attend TPO-organized events, workshops, and placement drives.
2. Absenteeism without valid reasons may result in removal from placement eligibility lists.
Offer Acceptance / Resignation
1. Students must follow company policies while accepting or resigning from offers.
2. Failing to join a company after accepting an offer may result in being barred from future placements.
Dress Code & Professionalism
1. Students must adhere to a formal dress code during training sessions, interviews, and company visits.
2. Mobile phones should not be used during sessions unless permitted.
3. Students are expected to maintain professional etiquette at all times.
Amendments
The TPO reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary to ensure smooth and fair placement operations.
