About Us
Shree Mahavir Education Society was established in 1996 as one of the leader in Technical Education in the rural area. The trust was started with a clear objective of providing high class education system in rural area and to give employment fillip to the women of rural area through need based education.
Mr. Harish Sanghavi started its rapid growth and began to play key role to meet diversified educational needs of rural people in Maharastra particularly in Dindori District of Nashik. Our organization is non-profit, educational charitable trust with the aim of imparting quality education to rural area by self-financing. Our organization has superior human resources, superb infrastructure, conductive working environment as well as inherent strength.
Mr. Harish Sanghavi started multiple Education Institutes in rural part of Nashik district especially Dindori. He started the Mahavir Polytechnic formerly known as Institute of Polytechnic, Nashik in Varvandi Village in the year 1999. The College is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) & Affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE).
Shree Mahavir Institute of Pharmacy, Nashik was established in the academic year 2003-2004. The College is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) & Pharmacy Council of India ( PCI ).
After successfully running these two Institutes, we thought to have a Degree college and this became true in 2012, when we established an Engineering College named as Sanghavi College of Engineering in the same campus which is also recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) , Directorate of Technical Education ( DTE ) and is Affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University .
The Management’s commitment to excellence and relevance in technical education is reflected in the marvelous infrastructure with up-to-date laboratories, sophisticated equipments, good infrastructure and excellent working atmosphere in 27.5 Acres of Land at Varvandi in Clean & Pollution free environment.

Mahavir Polytechnic
The Institute… Shree Mahavir Education Society's (SMES) Mahavir Polytechnic is a Technical Institute recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (Government of India), New Delhi and approved by Department of Higher and Technical Education (Government of Maharashtra) and affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. SMES is also a registered Trust with Charity Commissioner under Societies Act. The Institute at present offers three year courses leading to Diploma in Engineering.The total intake capacity of the Institute is 300 students.
Mahavir Institute of Pharmacy
The Institute… Shree Mahavir Education Society's (SMES) Mahavir Institute of Pharmacy, Pharmacy is a Technical Institute recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (Government of India), New Delhi and approved by Pharmacy Council of india ,New Delhi and affiliated to the Maharastra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. SMES is also a registered Trust with Charity Commissioner under Societies Act. The Institute at present offers 4 years Degree course and two years Diploma course in Pharmacy. The total intake capacity of the both courses are 60 students.
