For engineering admissions in Maharashtra in 2025-26, candidates must appear for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) will be conducted by the State CET Cell, with three rounds of counseling followed by a spot/institutional round if vacancies remain.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks.

  • The last date to apply with late fees was February 27, 2025

  • MHT CET Form Correction 2025 was open from March 10 to 12.

  • Registration: Candidates need to register for the CAP on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org
  • Counselling: There are three rounds of counselling followed by a spot/ institutional round.
  • Document Verification: Candidates must get their documents verified online

Choice Filling:
  • Candidates can fill their choices online by logging into the website.
  • The schedule for option entry will be available on the website fe2025.mahacet.org
  • Candidates have to fill their choice of colleges and courses online before the last date.

Seat Allotment:
  • The authority will announce the provisional seat allotment result online.
  • Candidates allotted seats have to download their allotment letter and report to the centres.

Counselling Fee:
  • There is no counselling fee for MHT CET 2025 qualified candidates.
  • Candidates applying based on the score of JEE Main must pay the counselling fee.
